A summer church picnic, what could be better!? Grillin' and chillin' with our church family. Join us on Sat. June 6 at 11:30am at the church for our annual picnic. Sign up sheet in the lobby. We hope to see you here! 

Join us at the church at 2pm (outside, in the dog park area)) as Pastor Latu performs his annual Blessing of the Animals!  Bring your pets to be blessed at this special event. Please ask Len or Latu for more information. See you and your pets here! This will be well after the Carson Valley Days parade is over! 

Please join us on Saturday, June 20 from 7:30-11am, for a morning of weed pulling. We will be focusing on the front of the church, next to the buliding and the back area of the memorial garden. This is not a traditional spring clean up day, but a labor intensive, hot morning of just pulling weeds. Please join us for this event if you feel this is a good fit for you. We invite you to work the whole morning or as long as you wish. Please bring a weeding bucket, sun hat, sunscreen, cushion to sit/kneel on and plenty of water. Snacks will be provided. We hope to see you here!

That is correct, we are holding a fundraiser to raise money for 150 new chairs for the fellowship hall. Our current chairs are in despearate need of replacement. With so many groups using our facilty, and so many events, it is needed! Please help us by buying a chair (or several), $60 per chair. Thank you! 

Heavenly Holiday Faire Craft workshops have officially started... meeting the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month, 9:30am-noon. Even if you don’t consider yourself “crafty” there is something for everyone to make. Try something new! Supplies are also available if you have projects you want to make at home. If you have questions or new craft ideas, contact Nancy Raymond or Kevin Heckart. 

Please bring your boutique-quality treasures to the church education room on the 3rd Monday of each month between 10 AM and 12 noon.  This is the perfect time to donate any Christmas (and other) items you no longer want! Timeless Treasures isn't a rummage sale.  If you think someone would like receiving an item as a gift, it probably will be perfect for us.  No clothing, please. The CVUMC is hosting a "Resistance Training"/Chair Exercise class.  The class is designed for anyone looking for a modest level class with some light weight options.  Classes meet in our large Fellowship hall space Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 10:00 am. The class is free, but donations are accepted at each class. Come Join Us!
