We had 2 outings in August. In September, Edie went to Montana and did not get an outing planned. Some of you will remember Mary Ellen Zellmer (Dave’s wife, and the Alpine Trio’s keyboard player); Skip and Edie got to celebrate her 90th birthday in Montana. She is looking and doing great.

Chili and Salsa Cook-off and Craft Fair
at Markleeville Library. Proceeds benefit Alpine Kids’ Young Adult Program.
Josh Kelly is barbecuing hamburgers and hot dogs for Alpine Kids to sell.
If you have on your purple shirt, you will get your lunch free.
If you want to taste chili and salsa, you will have to purchase your own tasting kit.
The cost for tasting kits is $5.
We need cooks, crafters, and volunteers.

Turkey Bingo at Turtle Rock Park.
Time changed to 2 – 5 p.m.
We will be selling sliced pizza, water and sodas, and desserts. Proceeds benefit the Young Adult Program.
Need volunteers, and raffle prizes.

The Fellowship Hall at Carson Valley United Methodist Church.
There will be hot dogs, nachos, and other goodies to eat.

Dinner starts at 5:00.
Santa will be there from 5:45 to 7 p.m. for pictures.
There will be books for all young people.
